Who We Are
Excusive Director – Dannie Sinisi
Dannie Sinisi is a mom of 1 child in our Warwick school. Dannie has a long history of volunteering in Warwick & beyond with projects & non-profits like 3 Chicks Flicks, OCNY Pride, Safe Space America, Warwick Playground Dreams, the Wawayonders, the Visioning Committee, volunteer for Fearless (then Safe Homes), clothing deliveries to the Hope Chest, raising money for families in Warwick that faced tragedy, volunteer for the Warwick Valley Community Center and more. Dannie in 2019, received the Human Rights Award from the government. Dannie is also the owner of Draco Natural Arts LLC & Dannie Boi LLC which owns America’s Epic Film Festival that is held at the Warwick Valley Community Center. Dannie is currently part of the membership based community garden and has experience with different gardening techniques and works as a Substitute Teacher in our school district. Dannie has been developing Shared Roots Foundation since 2021 while fighting homelessness and finishing a masters degree in Art Administration.
President – Lee Ann DeLeeuw
Lee Ann DeLeeuw is an accomplished leader in the Food and Beverage industry with over two decades of experience across the healthcare, education, and hospitality sectors. Most recently, she served as the General Manager of Food Service Partners of California, where she oversaw a food commissary dedicated to providing fresh, healthy meals for healthcare organizations and specialized co-packing services.
Throughout her career, Lee Ann has built a reputation for operational excellence. Her background includes serving as Food and Beverage Director for industry leaders such as Sodexo and The Kimpton Group. She is a results-driven professional known for transforming underperforming units into high-earning establishments while maintaining industry-low food costs. Her commitment to quality is evidenced by her “Continuous Improvement Award” from The Kimpton Group and her success in achieving zero-deficiency state surveys during the Medicare SNF application process.
A lifelong learner, Lee Ann stays at the forefront of food trends and regulatory compliance through regular consultation with professional publications and industry mentors. Her versatile skillset extends beyond the kitchen; she is also a Licensed Realtor, a published children’s book co-author, and an interfaith minister. Additionally, she contributes to her community as a K-12 substitute teacher and a clerk for Saint Anthony’s Hospital.
Originally from Northern New Jersey, Lee Ann spent 23 years in San Francisco before settling into her current home. Today, she lives on four acres of “Black Dirt” in a cozy house with her husband, Matthew, their two cats, and her loving family
Secretary – Lauren Sadler
A lifelong Warwick resident. Lauren has been involved in volunteering for many church activities including vacation bible school, Sunday school and midnight run. For several years Lauren has helped with the Saturday morning breakfast at Christ Church for disadvantaged families and has volunteered for the Warwick Valley Community Center. Lauren currently works for a group home and is a writer of books and scripts.
Treasurer – Michelle Governale
Michelle is a small crafting business owner and mother. Living in Chester and working for Light Club Curiosity. Michelle lives and works local. Michelle is using her organizational skills to help Shared Roots Foundation as well as her creative know how to help create interactive events.
